VintageA dry 2020 produced a low crop. The limestone hill showed good canopy to protect the small intense fruit making this 2020 a deliciously showy densely fruited release of poise and wonder
StyleThe nose is wonderfully lively of violets, raspberries and cherries. Great creamy and velvety tannins with enhanced flavours of chocolate, bright and dark berries which are delicate but dense. Fresh and pure.

The Winefront – Gary Walsh Oct 2020

Incredibly purple. My goodness it’s so purple. Fresh blackberry and boysenberry, pepper and flowers, spice and grilled steak, and as such a young wine, just a little fresh bread dough. Medium-bodied, dense and tightly packed, dark chocolate and pepper with a meaty character, but still pure of fruit, raspberry pie and the like. Tannin has a shale-like quality, layer upon layer of them. Spicy and a saline edge on a long dry finish.
